| Flashpoint studio 2
Flashpoint music are pleased to announce the opening of Studio 2 as a commercial studio available to the public. Previously Flashpoint studios were used exclusively for in-house music production and label acts. Studio 2 will now serve as a budget priced mid range studio for tracking and mixing at an affordable cost, packed full of larger studio features.
The studio features a fully refurbished vintage 1975 Harrison 3232C 32 channel console providing incredible sounding tracking. Painstakingly restored by the Flashpoint in-house tech team (Bill Clay and Rick Cameron) over the past year. Complimenting that is a Digidesign Control 24 for 'in the box' Pro-tools automated mixing.
We now have a new acoustically changeable recording area providing either dead or explosively loud environments. Billy has been hard at work making wooden baffles that can be moved around easily to create an endlessly variable acoustic environment.
Also new is Old Sound Central which is inclusive with any booking in Studio 2. It's a 90's MIDI work station with a huge array of retro equipment. Have a look!
